Volunteer opportunities include:
- Patient visitor
- Waiting room assistant
- Meal time assistant
- Admissions assistant/escort
- Information Desk
- Clerical and office support
- Departmental support
- Unit support
- Rockers
- Mail and flower delivery
- Pet Therapy (certification required)
A hospital volunteer must complete the following requirements:
- Application form
- Interview with Volunteer Coordinator
- Annual health updates including TB skin test
- Hospital and Volunteer orientation
- Minimum 3 month or 40 hour commitment
